About Us

You'll do this once. We've done this thousands of times.

What sets us apart? Every consultant on our team has years of experience in law school admissions, and they have counseled, evaluated, and admitted applicants to top law schools across the country. Moreover, we are the only consulting firm that not only helps applicants get into law schools, but also helps law schools improve their admissions outcomes — we have been hired to consult with dozens of law schools on how to advance their institutions. We don't just understand the process; we help develop the process, meaning our expertise lies not just in "what works" in law school admissions, but why it works.

Spivey Consulting Commitment to Ethics and Excellence

Excellence and integrity in our work are our founding principles, and we are dedicated to providing our clients with the very best consulting in the industry. This is reflected in the bios you see on this page — every Spivey Consulting member was recruited to our firm due to their impeccable reputation for integrity and meaningful work among their peers in the law school admissions community. It is the reason we have become the most sought after firm in the industry through reputation alone, without ever having spent a penny on paid advertising. A relentless pursuit for excellence in everything we do will always guide our hiring, our work, and our commitment to you.

As a team, we aspire to be part of something bigger than ourselves in order to make a difference in our clients’ lives. In doing so, we intentionally hire admissions professionals with the best reputations in the law school admissions industry. With over 250 years' combined experience in legal education, the Spivey Consulting team has succeeded in helping thousands of students gain admission to law school.

Pro Bono, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Spivey Consulting Group fully supports equitable access and diverse representation in legal education. Our commitment to providing the best free law school admissions content, advice, and resources available — as well as the extensive pro bono and low bono work we do each year — stems from this value and mission.

The Spivey Consulting Pro Bono Program is a yearly initiative to provide the best possible law school admissions guidance to underserved and underrepresented prospective applicants who may not have the financial resources to pay for a consultant. Through this program, applicants work one-on-one with one of our expert admissions consultants to craft every part of their application, from personal statements to resumes to diversity statements and more.

Applications for our pro bono program open each year in late spring and will be announced on our blog. We encourage applicants from low income and/or diverse backgrounds to apply!
